Who are Building Revolution?

Building Revolution is a young and dynamic company. With our work, we also simply want to make the world a better place.
By becoming more sustainable, we are actively making the world more sustainable.

This allows us to explain to our children that with our jobs we have made their world a little better.

Simon Hogenstijn

Simon is able to look at projects with a broad perspective. As a result, he may also look at other possibilities that had not yet been considered.

Simon is also a board member of the YOUNG TVVL, Official at the KNZB and an employee in various positions at the Hervormde Gemeente Vaassen.

He has over 10 years of consulting experience.

In 2021 Simon was named one of the 3 BREEAM assessoren of 2021. With over 2,000 assessors a huge recognition of his knowledge and expertise.

Marco van Brink

Marco is our MPG specialist.

He has earned the One-click LCA Summerschool diploma and experience in dozens of MPGs. These properties from homes to large utility projects have gone perfectly.

Marco has experience in installation engineering and is a volunteer at Cavente in Vaassen where he wants to put on a beautiful event for children up to 12 years old.

Marco is BREEAM-NL expert New Build, Area and In-Use.

Marco Grootjans

Marco is our up-and-coming sustainability specialist.

Marco has extensive management experience and knows how to set up and control a project like no other.

Marco is BREEAM-NL expert New Construction, In-Use and Area.

In addition, he now has many GPR projects policies.

Tanja Koelman

Tanja is the senior associate with us with a lot of passion for BREEAM In-Use.

She has supervised many projects in the Amsterdam region.

Tanja is BREEAM-NL Assessor In-Use and expert New Build and In-Use.

Herbert Berkhout

Herbert is Senior CX manager and operations manager for ongoing assignments.

Herbert has extensive experience in execution with E and W and is an architect.

Herbert is BREEAM-NL expert In-Use and Area.

Nima Nourbakhsh

Nima graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in industrial engineering and a doctorate in business management. With 12 years of experience in managing different projects and in 5 different countries including the Netherlands.

His knowledge covers renewable energy, an auditor to prevent energy waste in different industries and from 2022 quality assurance in construction for the new law WKB

Construction accounts for 25% of CO2 emissions. Reducing this makes for huge strides in sustainability. Would you like to grow with us as a Sustainable Buildings Consultant and specialize in guiding sustainability and energy efficiency improvements in both new construction projects and existing buildings? In this role, you will fulfill an essential position in designing sustainable buildings that meet the latest standards for energy performance and sustainability. Working within an inspiring and entrepreneurial team, you will be challenged to continually learn and innovate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Expert Sustainability Advice: You will analyze in detail new construction plans and existing buildings and offer advice to optimize them in terms of sustainability, energy performance and airtight construction. This can be for example with BREEAM, GPR or BCI.
Reliable BENG calculations: You perform accurate BENG calculations to evaluate the energy performance of buildings and comply with applicable standards.
Thorough MPG calculations: You provide thorough Environmental Performance of Buildings (MPG) calculations to assess and minimize the impact of building materials on the environment.
Efficient Energy Performance Calculations: You perform various energy performance calculations to ensure buildings are energy efficient and in line with applicable laws and regulations.
Clear Reporting:You prepare clear reports with your conclusions and recommendations for clients, architects and other stakeholders.
Effective Collaboration: You work closely with clients, the design team, engineers, developers and other stakeholders to integrate sustainability goals into all phases of the construction process.
Inspiring Innovation and Development: You continuously keep up to date with the latest trends and developments within sustainable construction methods, materials and energy efficiency. You will also contribute to enriching internal knowledge in this area.
